フランスから来日中の美術作家をお迎えして茶事を行いました。茶道を「学ぶ」のではなく「感じ」たい、という希望をお持ちでした。様々な本で茶道や禅、侘びの本を読んでこられたそうですが、実際に茶事を体験して、深いところで茶道を感じてくださったとのこと。御礼の言葉をいただいて、我々が茶室でいかに多くのものを共有したかに驚いています。ご縁に感謝。美しい秋の一日。忘れ得ない一期一会となりました。
We held the Tea gathreing to welcome a special guest from France and celebrate our friendship and the autumn beauty of Kyoto. We indeed shared the peaceful moments of harmony filled with beauty and warmth in a small tea house, making for a beautiful once-in-a-lifetime tea gathering.
